About me
Hi, I'm Scott Smith.
I build the digital plumbing that keeps Montana businesses moving.
I spent 13 years in Los Angeles as a software engineer, building large systems: the text messaging that kept restaurant pickup orders moving, pipelines that collected and organized business reports automatically, and tools that pulled messy data from many sources into clean dashboards. I brought that experience home to Helena to help local owners skip the jargon, keep more of what they pay for software, and own the systems they run on.
My background isn't just sitting behind a laptop. I studied electronics and biology at Montana State and creative writing at UM, and my favorite work is where software meets the physical world. Whether it's a custom script that links your register to your books, a text-to-pay ordering system for your shop, or a solar-powered camera watching a remote gate, I build it to hold up and to be easy for you to use.
